Like BioValley, Medicon Valley is both one of the strongest life science clusters in all of Europe and one of the major life science clusters to fall between two regions (Denmark and Sweden). Features of Medicon Valley include some 350 life science companies, roughly 44,000 employees and 11 universities. Some of those companies have been there for as long as 100 years.
